Raised from its own ground
Most of the timber in these walls came straight off the Ranch — felled, milled and raised into a lodge that couldn’t belong anywhere else.

Guest rooms dressed in Pendleton wool and reclaimed timber, a great room built around the fire, and windows that keep the pine always in view.

The lodge sits deep in a stand of loblolly pine, its own pond and pastures spread out around it, a working ranch first, with the lodge raised right into the middle of it.
The waters and woods around the lodge make for some of the best fishing and time outdoors in East Texas — largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie in the ponds and lakes of the Piney Woods, from the property’s own water to nearby Rusk County spots like Lake Striker and Martin Lake. A morning on the water, an afternoon on the trails, an evening back on the porch.
